My recent journey from Beijing to Los Angeles took me on an exhilarating adventure, but it also brought the seemingly simple yet daunting task of finding my United terminal at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). If you ever find yourself lost or confused, don’t hesitate to ask the friendly airport personnel for directions. They are usually well-informed and can provide guidance to your United terminal. I found this to be particularly helpful when transitioning from the international terminal to a domestic one.
The Walkway
After a bit of wandering and a couple of wrong turns, I managed to locate the bridge that connects the Tom Bradley International Terminal to Terminals 7 and 8, where United Airlines is based.

LAX has a shuttle service known as the “LAX Shuttle & Airline Connections,” which can be an invaluable resource when trying to navigate the airport’s various terminals. The shuttle runs continuously between all terminals, making it easier for passengers to transfer from one terminal to another. On this occasion, I had to use the shuttle service to move from the international terminal to Terminal 7.
Research and Preparation
Before my trip, I had done some research to familiarize myself with the layout of LAX. This helped me understand that United Airlines primarily operates out of Terminals 7 and 8. This information was crucial as it gave me a starting point in my quest to locate my terminal.
