The temple officially opens during the summer season in the month of March-April and remains open till Diwali. After Diwali, the main idol located in the temple is brought from there and placed in the Makkumath temple, which is located at a distance of 20 to 30 kilometers from here. After this, the temple remains closed till the month of February and the deity is worshiped at Makkumath itself.
